2026 Enrollment Now Open
There Are Plenty of Tax Training Programs. Most Teach You How to Fill Out Forms. This one teaches you how to change someone's financial life.
We limit every cohort deliberately. Smaller groups mean better support.
Our Mission
Train. Equip. Elevate.
We train tax professionals to deliver more than a return. Through advanced tax strategy, wealth-building education, and the tools of agent entrepreneurship, Fiscus Max preparers are equipped to transform the financial trajectory of every client they serve — not just during tax season, but for years beyond it.
Our Vision
One Million Homes.
We are building toward a future where one million working families and business owners have access to the financial education they need to build something lasting. Every preparer we certify is one step closer to that number. The work you do inside this program ripples further than any single return.
The Program
A Professional Certification. Taught by the People Who Do This Work.
Most training programs hand you information and consider their job done. This one invests in your growth.
The Fiscus Max certification was built from the ground up around the real skills professional preparers develop over years in the field. Every module is designed to close the gap between where you are and where the work requires you to be. When you complete it, you will not just have a credential. You will have the competency, the confidence, and the client communication skills to walk into tax season ready.
Three cohorts are available for the 2026 season. Each one is intentionally small to give every participant the support they need to grow through the program. Enrollment closes before each start date.
Curriculum
Five Weeks. Ten Live Modules. One Certification.
Every module is delivered as a live virtual class led by trained tax professionals. You will work through real case studies, ask questions in real time, and complete knowledge checks before moving forward. This is not self-paced video content. This is structured, instructor-led training built around your development as a professional.
Week 1
Individual Tax Return Preparation
Core Form 1040 preparation — filing status, dependency rules, income classification, and the common schedules working families actually need. Live case study included.
Deduction and Credit Optimization
Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, education credits. Live walkthrough of real return scenarios showing how these credits apply and where preparers commonly miss them.
Week 2
Small Business and Self-Employment Tax
Schedule C preparation, self-employment tax, quarterly estimated payments, and the deductions self-employed clients consistently miss. Includes a live small business filing simulation.
Tax Resolution Fundamentals
Recognize when a client needs resolution support. Live discussion of real IRS notice types, escalation protocols, and how to communicate confidently about balances due.
Week 3
Client Intake and Data Security
Documentation standards and secure file handling in a remote environment. Live walkthrough of the Fiscus Max intake process from first contact to completed file.
Virtual Client Communication
Live role-play scenarios covering how to set expectations, explain outcomes clearly, and manage difficult conversations with professionalism. This is where good preparers become great ones.
Week 4
Federal Tax Law Fundamentals
Filing deadlines, penalty structures, amended returns, and the regulatory framework every preparer needs to operate confidently. Live Q&A with a credentialed instructor.
IRS E-File and Preparer Compliance
E-file procedures, PTIN requirements, due diligence standards, and preparer compliance obligations. Live review of common compliance errors and how to avoid them.
Week 5
Fiscus Max Tools and Workflows
Live onboarding into internal systems, client file management, and the firm-wide standards that define how Fiscus Max delivers for every client. Your operational foundation before tax season begins.
Ethics and Professional Responsibility + Final Assessment
Circular 230 compliance and IRS preparer guidelines — the ethical foundation the rest of this work depends on. Followed immediately by the final competency assessment. Participants who pass receive Fiscus Max Virtual Tax Preparer Professional Certification status.
Live class schedules are distributed to enrolled participants following enrollment confirmation. All sessions are recorded for enrolled participants who need to review material.

Why Fiscus Max
The Work Requires More Than Technical Accuracy.
Fiscus Max preparers work with families who are often navigating the tax system for the first time, managing IRS notices they do not understand, or trying to turn a refund into something that actually lasts.
That work requires more than knowing how to fill out a form. It requires someone who shows up prepared, communicates clearly, and genuinely cares about the outcome. That is the standard we hold. Every module in this program is built around it.
The families we serve deserve 1:1 time, effort, and the determination of someone who will fight for their financial future like it is their own. When you complete this certification, you are joining a network that holds that standard every single day.
